When people visit central Florida, most head straight to Orlando for the theme parks and shopping. Orlando is the theme park capital of the world, with Disney World, Epcot Center, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Discovery Cove and at least half a dozen others right next to each other. Orlando is also home to just about every other kind of attraction there is – Ripley's Believe It or Not, Hard Rock Cafe, House of Blues, even Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede
Aside from Orlando, central Florida is also where you can find Gainesville, the home of the University of Florida and "the Swamp", which is notorious as one of the loudest stadiums in all of college football. Ocala is in this area as well, with its gently rolling hills and horse farms. In recent years, Ocala has become a destination for naturalists, with Ocala National Forest nearby.
