Central Florida
When most people visit central Florida, they usually head straight to Orlando. Orlando is the theme park capital of the world, with Disney World, Epcot Center, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Discovery Cove and at least half a dozen others right next to each other. Orlando is also home to just about every other kind of attraction there is – Ripley's Believe It or Not, Hard Rock Cafe, House of Blues, even Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede and Medieval Times!
Aside from Orlando, central Florida is also where you can find Gainesville, the home of the University of Florida and the Swamp, which is notorious as one of the loudest stadiums in all of college football. Ocala is in this area as well. In recent years, Ocala has become a destination for lovers of the natural world, with Ocala National Forest nearby as well as the Silver Springs Attraction and Wild Waters water park all drawing visitors each year.
